Halesworth Town Trail: The Town Park

Halesworth Town Trail

The Town Park

Halesworth Town Park

The Town Park was created by Donald Newby (Chairman of Halesworth UDC 1970 - 1971) with the help of Lady Rugby who donated some of the land.

A path leads to the Millennium Green which is the largest in the country.

Follow the footpath that leads along the river, past part of the old navigation canal and through the Town Park. Use the underpass under the main road and cross the car park, keeping to the right, and under the brick archway into Thoroughfare. Under the archway is the shop sign for Frost & Son, Grandfather to Sir David Frost.
