2017 Halesworth Arts Festival - October 7th - 22nd. An afternoon talk in association with U3A by the gifted painer and printmaker. Her subject is the contemporary landscape, with its history and wildlife. This has led her to an abiding interest in the poet John Clare and accidentally becoming a bit of an illustrator.

Red Deer Rut Safari, at RSPB Minsmere

Taking place daily from Saturday 30 September to Sunday 22 October. Timings are : weekdays at 2:30pm, weekends at 9:00am, 11:30am and 2:30pm. Tour lasts for 1.5 - 2 hours. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
Take this amazing opportunity to hire one of our guides for a 4x4 safari around the reserve to observe the red deer rut at close quarters. Each tour is for up to four people. A great opportunity to take some amazing photographs.

2017 Halesworth Arts Festival - Harmoniemusik

2017 Halesworth Arts Festival - October 7th - 22nd. The piano, harpsichord and wind sextet perform works by Telemann, Mozart and Handel, amongst others. Harmoniemusik made its debut in 1991, giving a series of recitals during a cruise of the eastern Mediterranean. The trip, from Istanbul to Venice, culminated in a chamber production of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte. The group has continued to travel ever since, giving performances in places as far afield as Berlin and the Republic of Yemen. The ensemble is based in London and performs there regularly in its own series of concerts at Bloomsbury's Conway Hall.
