Open Day at Blythburgh Station

An open day at Blythburgh Station and Goods Shed, where we will show you around the site and try and answer any questions you may have about this and/or about the 1879-1929 Southwold Railway in general. A large live steam 7-and-a-quarter-inch locomotive will be on site and running along a temporary demonstration track.
The site is just beyond Blythburgh Village Hall, alongside the A12 on the left, just as you leave the village travelling towards Southwold.

'Dare To Speak Up' Competion - A Workshop for Potential Entrants

With Beth Derks from the University of East Anglia. 'Dare To Speak Up' is a competition for budding climate change speech writers aged 11-18. See projectchange,uea.ac.uk . If you were at COP26 what would you say to those there, and how would you say it? In this hands-on and creative Workshop you will learn how to write a speech and how to present and record it.
