Book online-see below. Join our experienced guides for an exclusive half-day walk to explore Minsmere’s important habitats. Discover some of the amazing wildlife found there. A tailormade walk for a group of up to four people. Our guides will try to accommodate specific requests from attendees, where possible. Perfect for small groups of friends who wish to learn more about Minsmere together. For a larger group see booking page below. Walk is not recommended for children under 8 years. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs. Don’t forget to bring binoculars or ask at reception about loaning a pair for the day. This walk is in celebration of 75 years of RSPB Minsmere.

The Cut Science Café : ELECTRIC CARS ARE HOT!!

Doors open 6pm, the talk begins at 7pm. This evening Dr Stefano Landini, a lecturer in the Engineering department of UEA will discuss a novel thermal process designed to improve the battery performance of Electric cars. Although it is thought that 30% of the world’s energy consumption is for transportation, current estimates suggest that only 3% of this is from renewable sources, so we need to learn more about this pioneering work to improve that ratio.
