The Blythweb Calendar publicises events open to the public which are taking place in the general area of the
Blyth Valley in north-east Suffolk and occasionally also in the wider area. These events include those held in
support of local and UK charities, organisations, good causes etc., which we are pleased to freely publicise.
The Blythweb Calendar also features other events of interest.
A chance to go off-piste with our guides exploring the hidden reedbed banks. Autumn mornings are the best time to see family parties of bearded tits clinging to reed stems. Will you stumble upon an otter, red deer or a bittern flapping lazily above the reeds? Café will be open after the walk so that you can warm up with a delicious bacon bap or hot coffee (refreshments not included in price). Non-members welcome but required to pay the reserve entry fee, in addition to the event fee. Event not recommended for children under 8 years. No dogs, except registered assistance dogs.
A Grade 3 walk, 75-90 minutes walking, organised by OneLife Suffolk. Meet in Halesworth Thoroughfare car park. NB. parking charges apply - 2 hours costs £1. This walk is not wheelchair accessible. Dogs permitted on a short lead. Note : there are cows on Millennium Green..
