The Blythweb Calendar publicises events open to the public which are taking place in the general area of the
Blyth Valley in north-east Suffolk and occasionally also in the wider area. These events include those held in
support of local and UK charities, organisations, good causes etc., which we are pleased to freely publicise.
The Blythweb Calendar also features other events of interest.
Join our expert guides as they help you to spot tiny teals, whistling wigeons and gorgeous gadwalls. No previous experience needed. Not recommended for children under 8 years old. Non-members welcome on payment of the reserve entry fee on arrival, plus the pre-paid event fee. Ducks dominate the Minsmere wetlands in winter as thousands arrive from the Arctic to seek shelter on the Scrape. Search too for geese, swans and wading birds. Bring binoculars or ask at reception about loaning a pair for the day.
