DESCRIPTION:Model yacht sailing has been taking place in Southwold for
over 125 years. Tremendous fun, which is very easy to get the
hang of. All ages and abilities can join in. Anyone is welcome
to come and have a go at sailing – we can even lend you a
boat for the day (please book in advance) and show you what to
do.
Today, regular races plus the Family Relay Race, as well
as the Quincentenary Salver for Beach Yawls, which is for
sailors of any age but only sailing a Beach Yawl (which is a
rather unusual East Anglian rig of boat). Next Regatta 2nd
August.
